Strings was founded in mid October 2004 by Peggy Chiappa and her niece Suzanne Driscoll. The idea was inspired during a "Women's Weekend" yearly ritual. As part of the ritual the women each created a bracelet to wear in honor of the weekend and their unity. However Peggy and Suzanne had difficulty pulling themselves away from the beading table. This small act of tradition grew into a passion for creating jewelry. Although the talent and experience behind their work has grown, Peggy and Suzanne's pieces are each made with the original idea of honoring beautiful and inspiring women. Each piece is handmade, and one of a kind.
